I am a Senior Research Scientist in the Program in Atmospheres, Oceans and Climate, part of the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences , at MIT.
I work in the Marine Biogeochemical Modeling group along with Stephanie Dutkiewicz, Oliver Jahn, Ben Ward, Sergio Vallina, Anne-Willem Omta, Andrew Barton, Sophie Clayton and Chris Kempes. We use data analysis and models to investigate the connections between ocean circulation, biogeochemical cycles and marine ecosystems.
A major focus of our current work is The Darwin Project: An interdisciplinary, inter-deparmental effort at MIT to model marine ecosystems and understand how they are regulated by, and feedback upon, the environment.
